Today we received the good news. We are officially participating in the Xplore New Automation Award 2018 competition. We can be found in the "SmartFactory" category.

First steps
The first tasks and demands of our workload are already being dealt with. There are initial designs for the automation technology of the plant. The beginning of a PLC program and the first process pictures for the visualization of the plant have already been implemented.

The order process for the customer will later be carried out via this visualization.

There is also something mechanical. For example, The drink station takes shape.

We have revised our schedule. Many things we could do in the planned time. Some measures we had to adjust a little bit in time.
The black bar means that this action has been completed. If the bar is colored green we have adapted the time frame. The red bar is omitted.

Next week we have the interim presentation about our project. As soon as the presentation is finished, I put it online.

First "dry" tests
The communication between the Visu + and the PLC works. The PLC program is also mostly finished. The positioning of the two SEW inverters for the magazine and the conveyor belt could also be successfully tested today.

Final presentation "Open Day"
 
Today was the day. We presented our project "Flamizza" as part of the "Open Day" at the BBS1 in Mainz. The visitors had the opportunity to see the plant in action. Many thanks to all visitors and thank you for much positive feedback.
